~ Youth Education ~

Temple Etz Rimon’s youth education focuses upon giving our children a sense of Jewish identity and imparting to them tools they may use in their lives, both at Temple and in the larger community.

Our Judaica and Hebrew programs serve as a place where our children will encounter God, Torah and Israel.  We offer our children a place to learn, grow, build community and be challenged as they become more mature members of our congregation and of the Jewish community.

~ Adult Education ~

Temple Etz Rimon’s commitment to its members includes opportunities to expand or enhance their knowledge, enjoyment and connection to Judaism and Jewish learning while building connections with other congregants.  The Temple’s Adult Education Committee seeks out and presents classes and discussion groups that provide relevant, educational and interesting programs to meet the growing needs of our community.

In past years, these courses/events have included Torah study, Havdalah discussion groups, Hebrew language, movie nights, lectures, field trips, parenting and holiday planning classes, all presenting a diverse range of topics and challenging discussions. 

The opportunity to explore Torah is presented in groups that meet to study specific texts as well as seasonal study/discussion groups.  Visiting rabbis offer programs that provide further opportunities for spiritual, cultural and ritual exploration and allow members the opportunity to expand their knowledge or try new areas of endeavor.
