“One who visits the sick removes
one-sixtieth of their illness.”
Talmud, Baba Metzia 30b
At Temple Etz Rimon we have a commitment to fulfill all of our members needs by performing gemilut chesedim, or acts of loving-kindness. Our strength as a congregation is based on our strong links to one another and we show that by supporting our members during challenging times.
Our committee provides an array of services to our members in need, including a caring phone call or visit to those who are ill or live alone with little contact with their community. We may drop off a meal for someone unable to prepare one for themselves, provide transportation to services, or organize a shiva.
If you need assistance or would like to make a difference in someone’s life join our Caring Committee. Contact Us or call the temple at 760.929.9503 for more information.
