Established in 2000, Temple Etz Rimon is a Reform Jewish congregation in the heart of old Carlsbad. Our members come from cities throughout the North County of San Diego, including Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido and Encinitas. We are a vibrant and progressive congregation, blending contemporary thought with valued traditions.
Our close-knit community is dedicated to providing vital Jewish life experiences, spiritual growth, and ongoing educational opportunities. Committed to ensuring the continuity of Judaism as a force for good in the world, we focus on fulfilling the Jewish needs of our members across all generations and backgrounds.
Events
An atmosphere of warmth, inclusion and caring
The composition of our congregation reflects our desire for each member to feel welcome and part of our congregation. Members of our congregation are of all ages, come from many walks of life, and represent diverse Jewish backgrounds, beliefs and practices. Students and members of the military are welcome at all times. People of all sexualities, genders, and gender expressions are welcome in our family, as are people of all backgrounds and origins. Nobody will ever be turned away from our events due to inability to pay.
As a member of the Union for Reform Judaism, Temple Etz Rimon provides an atmosphere of warmth, inclusion and caring where people of all ages can get to know each other and practice Judaism comfortably with one another. We welcome diversity and the membership of interfaith couples and families.
