About your giving:
There are many ways for members and friends to support our temple by making monetary contributions. Our temple projects and programs grow and thrive with your donations.
Your tax-deductible gift can be designated for a general or specific fund. Your donation may be made to honor or recognize a special event or to show appreciation for someone special.
A gift to the General Fund provides leadership maximum flexibility to support critically-needed funds that ensure the health and welfare of Temple Etz Rimon. Your donations underwrite costs not covered by dues or other funds.
Rabbi's Discretionary Fund:
Your gift to the Discretionary Fund is used for Jewish and humanitarian charitable, religious, educational, health and other congregant needs, as well as to support temple programming at the Rabbi’s discretion.
Religious School Fund:
Educating our children is critical to our temple and the future of Judaism. This fund supports different aspects of education, from supporting our instructors to the purchase of textbooks and supplies. Your donations will ensure that our school is able to continue this very meaningful endeavor.
Religious School Scholarship Fund:
Your donation to this fund provides limited scholarships to partially defray the cost of religious school tuition so that no child is turned away due to financial limitations.
The Frowein & Vinikow Youth Opportunity Fund:
Provides scholarships for children to participate in the National Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) Retreats, Jewish summer camp, and Israel programs to help families with what can be a major expense. We believe participation in these programs is a great investment in the Jewish future, as immersive experiences like these are an important part of forging Jewish identity in their lives.
Rachael A. North Memorial Music Fund:
Your gift makes it possible to have a music program for worship services and the religious school.
High Holy Day Fund:
Providing support for this fund helps defray the traditional costs for the High Holy Days that include the cantor and musicians.
Your donation to this fund supports the Sisterhood and its programs for members and the congregation.
Circle of Giving:
Membership commitments alone cannot support temple operations; please consider helping Temple Etz Rimon sustain its mission and goals. Circle of Giving members are recognized in the High Holiday bulletin, in our weekly bulletin, and at a special event during the year.
