Here's What Members Have to Say:

“When I speak of Temple Etz Rimon, nothing but positive thoughts abound!
Initially, I joined this Reform Temple to gain a better understanding and knowledge of my religion, and I wished to also honor the memory of my husband, my parents, and my grandmother. As I attended Shabbat services, holiday services, and various Temple events, I began to savor the camaraderie I felt with so many of the congregants. I began to develop a sense of extended family.

So much of my positivity can be attributed to Cantor Bromberg. She is a wonderful spiritual leader. She is knowledgeable, articulate, and exudes a genuine warmth and kindness which I can feel with each and every hug bestowed upon me!! If ever I am in need of spiritual guidance or solace, I know that Cantor Bromberg and members of the Temple would be there for me as well.”

“I was drawn to Temple Etz Rimon because of the small congregation size and personal touch we received from the beginning. My daughter started at the Religious School at age 5 – the youngest in her class. Rabbi Sherman emailed and spoke to me throughout the year to make sure she was happy and comfortable. Both our children have made close friends in their classes over the last 7 years. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, and we truly feel part of a special community here.”

“I’ve been a member of Temple Etz Rimon for about a year. When I came to visit Etz Rimon I was struck by the warmth and openness of the people there during services and at Oneg. I found the services accessible and vibrant. And I found myself wanting to return… Etz Rimon has many activities, large and small, to take part in. This past year, I participated in a program where the Temple and the local Church we share space with provided a night shelter for homeless people and families for several weeks. It was a very tangible way of experiencing Tikkun Olam. I enjoyed spending time with the residents and my fellow congregants as well. If you are looking for a warm, inviting, vibrant community, I invite you to come and visit Temple Etz Rimon.

“After looking at other temples it became clear that Temple Etz Rimon was the right choice. The first time we came to Shabbat services we were greeted by friendly caring members. The warmth of the temple members and the Rabbi were sincere. There was not a push for us to join, just a true welcoming. We came from Chicago and 4 years ago we found Temple Etz Rimon and we have never looked back.”

“What drew me to our Temple is described in two words “our Rabbi.” Rabbi Sherman speaks to my spiritual heart and fills me with joy. What made me stay at our Temple were the people. The whole congregation greeted me so warmly and made me feel that I found a forever home.”
