From regular Shabbat services to High Holy Days observances, our services offer intimate, meaningful and informed worship and holiday celebrations.
Shabbat offers us an opportunity to rest and reflect; it is central to Jewish life. We celebrate the day of rest approximately three times per month (depending on the season and holiday schedules), concluding Shabbat Services on Friday nights and Saturday mornings by gathering to say Kiddush, make motzi with light refreshments, and enjoy each other’s company.
Our High Holiday Services begin with S’lichot, include Rosh Hashanah and Tashlich at the beach, and finish with the Yom Kippur concluding service. Reservations for High Holidays are included with membership, and we offer reservations to the community as space permits. For more information contact us or call the temple at 760.929.9503
The Jewish year encompasses a multitude of festival celebrations. After the solemnity of the High Holidays, we observe Sukkot and Simchat Torah in the fall, Hanukkah in the winter, Tu B’shevat and Purim in the Spring. These holiday observances are filled with fun and community, and, of course, often with food.
Please see our events listing, contact the temple, or sign-up for our e-newsletter, The Teruah to receive the most current schedule of services and events.
Sacred space is shared with Pilgrim Church located at 2020 Chestnut Ave., Carlsbad 92008.
